Gulmarg
-Gulmarg is one of the major hill resorts of Jammu and Kashmir and
is famous amongst the adventure sports lover. Gulmarg is famous for

Pahalgam -Located at the confluence of the streams
flowing from Sheshnag Lake and the Lidder river, Pahalgam is another
hill station which offer panoramic view to the travellers.
Srinagar - This is one of the best known hill
resorts of Jammu and Kashmir. Srinagar is the summer capital of the
Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir with lovely lakes. Dal Lake in
Srinagar is one of the popular destination of Jammu and Kashmir.
Leh & Ladakh - Nestled at the height of about
3,505 meters above sea level, Leh is the most enticing place in Leh

River
Rafting - The Kashmir valley is famous for its rivers and lakes as
it is for its beautiful mountains. More than just an object of beauty,

Connectivity
By Air - Srinagar airport is 14 kms from the city.
The taxi ride to the Tourist Reception Centre costs about Rs.250/-.
Jammu & Kashmir State Road Transport Corporation (J&KSRTC)
operates special coach services between the airport and the city. The
state is connected by from Delhi, Mumbai and Jammu and has regular
flights.
By Rail - Jammu Tawi is the nearest railhead where
trains are connected from Delhi, Kolkata , Pune and Mumbai.
By Bus -National Highway 1-A, connecting Srinagar
with Jammu, is a good, all-weather road with several sharp inclines and
hairpin bends. It is maintained by the Border Roads Organization (BRO),
which clears the road of any obstructions resulting from natural causes
like landslides and heavy snowfall
Jammu
and Kashmir is located in the northern extremity of the Indian state. The
State is surrounded by Pakistan, Afghanistan and China from the West to the
East.
