Dalhousie is located along the Dhauladhar Range in Himachal Pradesh. It is approx 80 km from Pathankot at an altitude that varies between 5,000 feet and 7,800 feet.

Garam Sadak - Cars not being allowed, this road is a fantastic way to learn to walk again. Guarded on both sides by Oak, Cedar and Pine Trees; the road makes up for a perfect jogging destination.

Panch Pulla - Five splendid bridges cover up the gushing streams of Panch Pulla, a picturesque location. There is a memorial of Ajit Singh, a confederate of Subhash Chandra Bose.

Kalatope Wildlife Sanctuary - Visit the wildlife sanctuary for exciting wildlife including Black Bear, Barking Deer and beautiful Birds.

Dainkund Peak - The Peak provides magnificent views of some major waterways including the Chenab, the Ravi and the Beas.

Bazaars - Dalhousie's Gandhi Chowk is the most popular Bazaar, thriving with shops selling ethnic Trinkets and other Souvenirs.

The Himachal Handloom Industry emporium on Thandi Sadak and the Tibetan Handicrafts Centre (for the Carpets) is a big steal during the tours.

Things to Do
Khajjiar - Visit Khijjiar, the hot-spot for picnics; see a tiny lake surrounded by lush green forests and meet the best of the cottages made of wood. The Horse rides are exciting enough too.

Visit During Winter - Dalhousie would chill you, if visited during winters. The excruciatingly cold temperature, winds and the chilling atmosphere makes it a really fantastic destination to visit with friends and family.
